Traditional PPF is a clear film that is cut and laid over the paint. Even with a good installer, there is some seam edges and patterns that dictate how the film can wrap. On some panels and aftermarket parts edges are more visible. PeelClear is sprayed not laid. It covers every curve and contour with uniform layers so there are no film lines or cut edges. When cured, it looks and feels much closer to real paint
PPF relies on adhesive. Overtime, heat and age can make removal much harder, and in some instances, there’s a risk of the adhesive residue or even clearcoat damage if things go wrong. PeelClear relies on a mechanical bond instead of adhesive. It is designed to peel away clearly when the time comes, without harsh chemicals, and without leaving residue behind.
Film has limitations when it comes to very sharp body lines, tight areas, and highly customized or aftermarket parts. Sometimes pieces need seams or relief cut that are visible up close. Because PeelClear is sprayed, it can cover complex shapes, aftermarket lips, diffusers, flares and arrow pieces in one continuous layer. This is a big advantage for many of the bills that come through our shop.
Traditional clear PPF mainly keeps here in your original color, unless you step into colored PPF, which can be very expensive with limited options, PeelClear can be completely clear lightly tinted or uses a base for full color change finishes with gloss satin or mat looks

The best way to get an accurate number is to stop by our shop or send us a photograph and will build a clear line by line quote.
Yes! The colored version of PeelClear paint will outperform wraps and colored PPF in terms of depth, uniformity, and overall visual quality, while still being removable. We can still talk through the wraps if that’s what you want to use, but PeelClear gives you more paint like results.
When cured you can apply compatible Ceramic Coatings over the surface to make washing easier and add a hydroponic property behaviors just like we do on permanent paint.
Yes, though touchless or hand washing is recommended. Automated brush car washes can cause unnecessary wear on any paint finish, including Peelclear, and are best avoided.
